"People, Places, Stories and Stuff" Event Showcases Three DSMP Collaborations

Updated: Jan 18, 2023

The DSMP project's first public pop-up museum exhibition, People, Places, Stories and Stuff was held on September 16th at the Egg in Washington College's Hodson Hall. Celebrating three museum collaborations over the past four years, community and museum partners, students, faculty and staff were able to tour the exhibit, experience virtual and augmented reality technology, and learn from one another. The event culminated in a short project presentation and recognition of our museum partners at the Betterton Heritage Museum, Worton Point Schoolhouse and Rock Hall Waterman's Museum.

The event was featured in this video and article from the Chestertown Spy:

We were thrilled to share this event celebrating the opportunity for real-world learning to make an impact in our community--see the "By the Numbers" graphic below which illustrates the impact of this collaborations.

Thank you to all who came out to celebrate with us and special thanks to the organizations below who have generously supported this work over the past four years.
